Tion^TM technology
was tested by the University of Applied Sciences of Stuttgart

Scientific tests prove the effectiveness and value of Tion^TM technology.

One of these tests involved measuring the degree to which formaldehyde or benzene was broken down. In this test, a certain amount of formaldehyde or benzene was injected into a sealed space in which a carpet treated with Tion^TM had been placed. The same procedure was followed in a space holding untreated carpet. The test findings showed that the formaldehyde or benzene at first present in the space holding the carpet treated with Tion^TM was broken down.

The cigarette smoke test which is often used in the car industry, offers more factual proof. The odour is measured on a scale of 0 to 10, a score of 2 indicating the limit at which the odour can no longer be detected by humans. In a space where carpet with Tion^TM technology is being activated by UV-light, the odour score remains below 2.
